Our Trip to Disney World by Dahlia R.

One time, about 5 years ago, my mom took my friends and I on a trip to Disney World. “Aahh!” I yawn as I wake up in the morning.  A few minutes later, my mom said  “Let’s go to Disney World with your friends because all your siblings have gone places with their friends but you haven’t.” So on that day, we begged our friends, the Freemans, to go to Disney World with us and they said yes to going. We were going next week on Friday and staying for a week! I was so eager to go on the rides. I jumped up and down and up and down!  Once it was Friday morning at 4:00 am, we got on the plane to Disney World.  

We arrived at 7 am and we saw an alligator at a pond near the airport. Then, it walked toward us, we backed up, and it stayed.  Finally  we got in our rental car and drove to our hotel in Disney. We arrived at 8:00 am and settled in at an inn in Disney World. We showered and watched some tv and at 9:00, we went to meet our friends .

First, we went on the Pirates of the Caribbean. I was so thrilled when we first got on the ride that I screamed “woohoo!”  Before we got on the ride, one of the Freemans said they were too scared to go on the ride so they were going to wait for us while my mom and I were on the ride. Then,when I got on the ride it smelled like fresh water.  I saw pirates and a mountain of gold coins and jewels. For a minute, I was a little scared, but I thought it was kind of funny. Later we got lunch at a bakery and got sweets, after which we went on some other rides.  Finally, at night we went back to the hotel and got ready for bed.

The next morning, we slept in late because we had a big day the day before. When we actually got up, we went to the door of the Freemans hotel room, and knocked on the door. It was time for breakfast. Eventually the Freemans got out of their hotel room and we were on our way.  Later after breakfast, we went on our first rides of the day. The first ride we went on was Avatar. We had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes in a very long line. When we finally got on the ride, I was very excited. By lunch time, we were very tired and by the end of the day, we went back to the hotel for bed. 

Finally, we had to go home but I didn’t want to.  I wished to stay but that did not work so I gave up. So I packed up my things, and got ready to go. When we got to the airport, I was a little sad but I was a little happy to be going home. I couldn’t wait to go back to Disney World again!
