I am a credentialed educator full of curiosity, joy, love, and wisdom. I use my talent as an educator to share my happiness with the world, which manifests when my students enjoy learning. I love enlightening students because, in my 15 years of teaching, I've learned patience, caring, and forgiveness to create a safe environment for learning. Finally, wisdom is one of my oldest mentors. I enjoy playing chess, one of the oldest games in the world, because I spend a lot of time inferring my next set of moves. I enjoy teaching my students how to infer knowledge because it's fun making decisions.

Andrea is a book lover and grammar enthusiast. After graduating from college, where she double majored in Theatre and English, Andrea volunteered as a writer on board a hospital ship in West Africa. There, she built relationships with both young and adult patients, and wrote their stories of transformation.

In 2020, the pandemic brought Andrea back home to the Bay Area and it wasn’t long before she embarked on her next adventure: working at a K-8 private school in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. She spent her first year providing academic and behavior support to the students and teachers. In her second year, she transitioned to the administration team and ran school operations.

Andrea is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Amy Chamberlain

Service: Jump Private Coaching - Master Teacher

Hello, I'm Amy Chamberlain and my favorite part of teaching is helping kids gain confidence in themselves so they can succeed.
How? By making learning and developing necessary skills FUN and ENGAGING rather than frustrating and a fight with students.
My secret recipe for success is using topics that my students are already passionate about to get them invested in working on areas that need improvement. Whether it be in their writing, organizational skills, reading, public speaking, or critical thinking, when the exercises are centered around something they care about, they are willing to dive in and the path to improvement has already begun. Why shouldn't learning be fun?

Professional Background: I graduated from USF with an MEd in 2021. I have extensive experience as an educator and private instructor in both primary and secondary education. I also hold a graduate degree in education administration. My other specialties are writing, reading, and language arts.
