As schools devote more time to STEM subjects, students receive less quality instruction in writing and language arts.

Jump Writing’s unique instruction process was created by educators with master’s degrees from the Stanford School of Education and the Stanford Teacher Education Program. Our educational best-practices and personalized programs are designed to further advance students who already thrive in writing, and jumpstart those who need a little extra help.

Like you, we are busy parents, and we’ve designed the Jump Writing experience to be straightforward and easy.

We offer two different programs to make your child a better writer, Jump Writing and Jump Private Coaching. See below to decide which solution is right for you!

WHICH SOLUTION IS RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD?

Jump Writing

Membership in this drop-in, online writing tutoring center gives you access to 16 sessions per month at around one-third the cost per-session of typical in-person tutoring. Regular assessments allow trained instructors to customize instruction to serve each child’s specific needs. Designed for kids who are already strong in writing, and those who could use a boost.
Ages 6 – 13.

Jump Private Coaching

Jump Private Coaching provides your child fully customizable writing instruction in a convenient and flexible 1-1 online format. From the timing and frequency of sessions to the area(s) of emphasis, Jump Private Coaching sessions are tailored to your specific needs and goals. Feel good knowing you are helping your children prepare for success in school, their careers, and beyond!

Individualized Coaching
The Jump Writing Program offers opportunities for personalized mini-lessons, conferencing and feedback throughout the session. Jump Tutoring students work one-on-one with a credentialed or master’s level teacher to target specific interests and needs.

Jump Writing works with credentialed teachers and education specialists to develop evidence-based methods and curricula. Students practice organization, fluency, craft moves, and grammar across a variety of writing genres.
